Pasadena Landmarks and Public Art Walk
On Sunday August 16th, 2026 Pasadena CSC member Diane Ricard lead a group of adventure seeking walkers on a fun 3.5 mile loop to see some of Pasadena’s landmarks and public art spaces. Stops included The Plaza, Pasadena City Hall, Robinson Brother statues, Memorial Park, Ambassador Gardens, Castle Green, and last but not least Pasadena Civic Center. A participant on the walk made us aware of an Armenian Genocide Memorial which is inside memorial park, most of us were unaware it was there, hiding behind tall bushes. Even those of us who walk all the time learn of new spaces every time we lace up our sneakers and take to the streets.
